    I often wonder why ancient sages didn't need all these methods .Life was very simpler.They were into meditation and yoga.This kept their body and mind strong .They just believed in energy and soul.They did not believe in inner child.IWe are just energy. I think we have complicating things with thousands of methods. .. Many more will be invented in the future.Its better we follow a simple traditional method that really worked for all. Don't know what God must be thinking of us seeing us tapping, rolling, talking to inner child, ...and many more yet to come....

    Should come with a warning for those less physically able! That first exercise is not suitable for me, I damaged my tailbone years ago and it took years to get better, and have a dodgy back and hips - I’ll pass on this one thanks!

    Wonderful ideas. I love journaling. So this is what I do - I use a multicoloured pen. i mention the date obviously on the top . Followed by my Intentions ( my goals for the day eg. yoga, meditation, clearing cabiner, pet grooming etc), Event (birthdays or celebration or someone visiting home), Reflection (jotting down my thoughts, feelings or experiences, Insight (some insights I came across while meditating or reading), Quotes (an inspiring quote I heard), Gratitude (3 things i am grateful for) I journal my intentions 1st thing in the morning and I visit it during the day to write my reflections/ Insights/ Quotes. I end my day with Gratitude. each of these in different colors and hence multi-coloured pen. Once in a week, typically end of week on Saturday, I write "my story this week" which is typically my wins, something I learnt or wouldn't repeat, my intentions or goals for next week in general (eg more disciplined with yoga, or family time or read a new book etc). I picked this technique from one of Robin Sharma's podcast. I started this practice this year and love reading what my life was few weeks back. Having said that, I may not be as consistent but try my best to be journal as often as I can. Hope you find my sharing useful.

    Excellent explanation of meditation using analogy of spring cleaning. I also believe just as we careful about who will allow into our house, in the same way we need to be aware of who is renting our mental space - well-wishing friends or toxic relatives/ colleagues etc. A miserable mind will be the one hosting toxic people. Hence, spending more time with positive people in person as well as in thoughts is important to have healthier relationship with yourself and others. 👍
